Celebrant: With the intercession of Our Lady, we call upon Our Lord...

 

Deacon/Reader:

 

1. For Pope Leo as he celebrates the first anniversary of his election as Pope and for Bishop Luis, as he shepherds us in our love for God and in the hope His Light brings to all longing to see Him, we pray to the Lord… 

 

2. In thanksgiving for the gift of our mothers and all who have shown us a mother's love, that they may be strengthened and flourish in their vocation, we pray to the Lord…    

 

3. For all graduates, that God’s protection and His guidance may be with them, as they begin their careers, and as leaders in society, we pray to the Lord…

 

4. For all those struggling with illness, those with chronic pain and those infirmed at home, that they may be renewed by God’s healing graces, we pray to the Lord…

 

5. For the ways of peace within the hearts of the violent and between those at war; for the protection of the innocent and for our First Responders and our military as they carry out their duty, we pray to the Lord…

 

6. And for our personal needs and concerns of mind and heart, that we offer to God now in a moment of silence…(pause)… we place all these on this altar, together with our material offerings for the ministry of the Church, we pray to the Lord…

 

Celebrant: Loving Father, hear us and in Your Love, shepherd us, always, as we pray in Your Holy Name, through Christ our Lord.
